The location of the cottage is superb, with plenty of walking trails right on the doorstep. the massive bath in the bathroom was a great addition, perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking. the cottage had a well-equipped kitchen and a secure garden for our dog.
The lack of kitchen utensils made it a bit challenging for us, especially since we enjoy cooking.

The cottage was spacious, warm, and cosy, providing a comfortable and relaxing stay. the big kitchen was great for cooking, and the bathroom was lovely with a big bath and massage shower. the location was perfect for those who enjoy walking, with plenty of nearby places to explore.
The lack of house labels made it a bit challenging to find the cottage initially, and the appearance of the cottage seemed a bit basic due to the removal of frills like cushions and furnishings covers. the lack of live TV and limited operating hours of nearby places took some getting used to.

The owners of the cottage were incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The cozy log burner created a perfect atmosphere after our outdoor adventures. The location is ideal for a peaceful holiday with beautiful forest walks and the chance to spot red squirrels. The cottage had all the conveniences we needed, including a washing machine and fully equipped kitchen. The water pressure in the bathroom was amazing too! we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend the cottage.
The bed in the back room was a bit hard and creaky, but everyone has different preferences. It would have been nice to have some furniture in the back garden for comfortable stargazing.

We had a really enjoyable stay at this cozy cottage. The location was excellent for exploring the beautiful surroundings and there were plenty of activities nearby. The owners, Beth and Dave, were incredibly helpful and friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable. The cottage itself was warm, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The log burner in the living room created a cozy atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after a long day of exploring. The bathroom was spacious and had a lovely big bath and massage shower. We especially loved the amazing water pressure! The cottage had all the amenities we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen and a washing machine. We also appreciated the provided information and leaflets about the area, which helped us plan our activities. Despite a few minor drawbacks, such as the lack of a rug in the lounge and bedroom, and the absence of live TV, we were overall very satisfied with our stay. We would highly recommend the cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful and nature-friendly holiday.

Lovely quiet village only 15 mins to the nearest town. Well-appointed cottage with all facilities required for a comfortable stay. Nice touches like dog biscuits. Great location for walks, cycling, and exploring the local area.
The bed in the back room was hard and creaky. No furniture in the back garden, making stargazing uncomfortable.
